A Few Weeks to Travel in Western Europe

So I will be studying in Munich this summer for 6 weeks. I have time (and money) to stick around for a few weeks to travel. Anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of biking around Belgium for a brewery tour, but can't find any information about it. The only problem is I will be by myself, so I am not sure what I want to do. If anyone has any suggestions on climbing/cycling stuff, or anything else, to do in Europe, I am open to it. What are my options?

Also, any info/suggestions on Amsterdam are appreciated it. (specific coffee shops, etc)

TIA

ok, so got to the Augustiner beer garnde inmuncih. I love that beer.

Berlin. Do Berlin. Go to "The Bird" - get a burger and napalm wings. You'll thank me and hate me later. The Pergamon - if you don't go thwere you're an idiot.

A'dam- Van Gogh museum - best art museum I have ever been to. Full stop. Rembrandthaus is also pretty good.

Beglium - base yourself in Brugge and do day-trips to other places imo. People say Brugge is overly touristy, thats bull imo compared to A'dam. delightful.

Do you like motorsport? go to Frankfurt or Koln, hire a car, and if you like cars you don't need me to tell you where to go to next.

when in that place go to "Fuchsröhre", excellent.

Cycling and Climbing - my forte!

Amsterdam, bike around that's easy and everyone does it. It's different so be prepared if you're a cyclist..hybrid tires for the cobblestones. Smoke a joint and check out the parks (vondel park), Rijks, Van Gogh, A.Frank, max days in the dam would be 3 and you're done.

Cycling in Italy, nothing beats the italian back country - check out Tuscany perhaps or the Italian coast line.

Head to spain for the climbing

Good luck godspeed - climb safe.

i don't know, I think I would prefer to be based in Brussels. Brugge is too small. It sounds like Belgium has some great festivals during the summer.

By train, get the interail pass (google it).

Do Berlin, London, France (Paris, la Provence), Italy (la Toscana, Firenze, Pisa, Roma), Spain (Barcelona over Madrid). And Dam, but not the redlight district (1 day or 2 max), Jordaan rocks.

Ok maybe a bit of an exaggeration, and I haven't been to the Louvre and the Rijksmuseum was closed when I was in A'dam, but I thought it better than the National Gallery in London, for example. But I do like van Gogh, and the gallery also has artists which he was influenced by and who he influenced.
