I'm well into using toms in my latest stuff but I've used up the worthwhile samples and sources I have so far.
Anyone recommend a sample pack or other source (don't say elektron drum machine) for a few quid?
I favour very electro / artificial sat6urated style, not African bongos!
The more modern and different the better.
Can make own on Moog but sound is not quite right.

Check out the Wave Alchemy samples, particularly the Drum Machines 01. I'm at work right now, so I can't give you an idea of how many electronic toms are in there, but there are quite a few from memory and the price is outstanding, as is the quality of the samples.

Cheers cryo - I will take a look again. I have thier freebe taster and didn't think they were that great but only a handful of toms there so I may well take your advice here. |

+1 on the WaveAlchemy sounds. Best electronic drum sounds I have heard. Ditched the Thomas Penton and Vengeance packs almost completely after buying there latest pack. |
