Slight tangent, loved both of Tyrant's double disc mixes.
(Also my favorite night ever at Stereo in 2002) |

Rosa DeLauro sez:
Fabric 14: Stacey Pullen - I know, it starts jazzy, but quickly dives into the tech bubble and comes up for air only once, which is more than enough.
Fabric 20: Diggers. ing "In the Dark" destroys me every time. Arguably my favorite (but there are like 4 other faves so don't get too excited). So pissed that the chain got to see these ******s at the Forum but I was too ed to get out of bed (g-d endometriosis).
Fabric 22: Adam Beyer. Tech is tech. And that's that.
Fabric 27: Audion. Incredibly dope. But I think I was oversaturated with Rej so badly a few years ago that I have this immediate revulsion to any mix with it. Yeah, it's a dope jam, but there is so much other jelly that your toast should never taste the same, right? 'Ketamine Christmas' got me hard for Lee Curtiss in a really bad way.
Fabric 40: Farina. ing house for your junk. Bouncing bits. Jeezus.
Fabric 46: Claude Von Stroke. Man, it was nice finding this when I couldn't get to piknik for 3 years. It's the best day you ever had a piknik condensed into two hours of semi-retardedness. Yeah, and the one time I have this year to get to MTL he's at Stereo followed by minilogue in the park. FAHHKK. The fates are solid.
Fabriclive 45: A-Track. Yeah, so you just moved to a new town and you're unsure about whether the new friends you got are going to leave if you put on some house, so you throw this on and it's a goddamn dance party. Good but even better than that, accessible to people that have no clue. But good in it's own right as well.
There are a bunch of others I haven't heard yet (thanks freeleech!) or I have only heard when I was really sideways. I think I like the Ame fabric (disregard earlier statement re: rej getting played the out) and the John Tejada one. But I'm not sure yet because there is still so much I have yet to listen to.
So questions for y'all:
1. What balance albums are good? I know 14 is outstanding (Joris you silly goat) but other suggestions?
2. So what is Rub-N-Tug? And what's good by Pan-Pot?
Thanx in advance, kites.
