With new mobile technology and googles awesome operating system, mobiles are now operating like light PCs, with tens of thousands of applications, and more and more new ones getting made every day.
I recently just bought a Nexus One and am now looking into the possibility of actually making music on this thing, which is more than possible with its 1 GHZ processor and 512 MB RAM.
So yeah im looking for any information, experiences and recommendation for music making on the Android operating system. |

I know for the pocket PC, a prototype (ported) version of cubase had been seen and that was back in the Kaiser/tytn2 days which had a less powerful cpu.
TBH, there's no reason why they can't be made to run audio programs, apart from the fact the screens are tiny. even somehting to program midi leads and perc would be fine on my G1 if I could then export the audio or midi file. |

Prefectly good question: becuase there are times when you have free time on your hands and can't get anywhwre near a DAW (like right now for me) or in the bath etc. Don't get me wrong, I don't by any means expect to mix and master the next offshore on it, but making a nice little drum loop to drop in to my track when I get back to the studio could be nice. |
