How many hours of your life a day do you devote to your music??
I don't so much mean listening to it and enjoying it. It's more about the sourcing of new music, putting together mixes, production of new tracks, burning see-deez and printing of seedeaz....It can all be very tedious.
An example being when you realise you have listened to 130 tracks on-line and you ain't found 1 ing gem!! |

I listen relatively regularly. The predominate amount of time I spend listening is in my car since it has the best system other than my dj setup.
Honestly, I don't listen to much dance music and really only look for it when I've got a gig or some practice session for mixing coming up. Other than that I just listen to anything else. |

its very time consuming.
worst part is the listening to 100 songs and only liking 10 to 15 of them, sometimes less. |

When it went from 1 hour listening to find 1 track to 3 hours per track, I stopped putting so much effort in. It was a combination of my becoming more picky and the market becoming heavily saturated. |

the problem is the time it takes to find the stuff you want to spend time on listening to. it leaves me still discovering from 96, so it's not all bad :) |
