Even though, I never used Linux before, I chose Red Hat because of the simplicity that I heard was present in it. Personally, I still don't know which is the easiest Linix, though. Can someone put up here, which is easiest? Thanks!

I use slackware and did some rock linux too. Slackware is one of the best there is. No extra u don't want. No crappy default configuration u don't want. Maybe it's harder to start with but in my opinion one of the best distro's out there.

i have two os's on my machine: win 2k and corel linux which uses the built-in kde interface. the core is not as flexible as the one of, let's say, red hat, but it's much easier to work with. imho, it's the best one of linux's with gui. kde has some advantages over g-nome. but again, many people got used to linux + g-nome combination, so it's a moot point :D

SuSE works good too.
