What's for dinner tonight, COR?

We're making a small (half leg) lamb roast. It's been marinated in olive oil, lemon juice, herbs, and cracked pepper for a couple of hours. Just went into the oven. Smells sooooo good. Will be served with roasted potatoes, onion, and sweet potato. OM NOM NOM NOM.

What's cooking in COR world? (I'm aware of the time difference, so gimme details for dinner just passed, or tomorrow's dinner :p)

My dinner sucked. I hate the dining hall here. After I had some broccoli, a piece of burnt bread and some burnt fries and Owl City came on, I ran away and had a bagel with some vegan "cream cheese."

Pasta (farfalle) with tomato-mushroom sauce. I made a huge pot of it and now I'm gonna be eating it for the rest of the week.

This isn't the pic of the food, we ate it too fast lol. But my flatmate made this for dinner tonight: Chicken Katsu

Inspired by our favourite restaurant Renkon

It was so good

Haven't taken anything out of the freezer, so I'll prolly make Thai curry shrimp with mango and serve it with rice or quinoa.

tonight I'm gonna use the second portion of a cooked ham that I did yesterday. I may get a 3rd meal off it too, I'm not sure. I'll serve it with steamed leeks, carrots, cabbage and brocolli and a mid-size yorkshire pudding & gravy. I'm a sucker for the salty taste of ham though as a 'dinner' meat, after just using it cold in sandwiches for years.

Tomorrow or weds, depending on when i've finished the ham, will be a half roast chicken which I shall season with lemon thyme and a little bit of freshly cracked black people pepper and use a nice light & mild olive oil to just help it along. That will be served with seasonal vegetables, probably babycorn, mange tout, cabbage, carrots etc.
