Yeah. Exactly. It seems like everytime we do get good music here the party doesn't even turn out. REGARDLESS, we need good dubstep rather than brohipstermeganfoxxxxxxeduphaircuitfakeassteethstep. Even though the majority of atlanta loves that noise.

I like the more progressive dubstep that doesn't use the generic wobble bass, but it's a hassle to sift through so much identikit wobble crap.

yeah. i was at deep space (francois k's party in nyc) on monday where theo parrish was there as a guest for the 7th anniversary party. FK is big into dubstep these days and draws some kind of crowd from those kids.
needless to say, i was really enjoying the night until he decided to start playing some of this stuff, and i left.
i've had to play some gigs with people playing this penis music, which is like a full frontal assault on musical sensibility, without any entertainment value. i guess the kids like noise. i don't mind noise bands but playing these gimmick-laden 'brostep' (thank you sand leaper) mp3 cacophonies is a huge downer for me

this is really disappointing news about Francois K!
I dislike all the songs posted in this thread. In fact, most dubstep I really dislike. I just don't think I really "get" this music. Some stuff I don't mind like Burial/Shackleton/Shed/2562 but on the whole this music is garbage.
