I had a really great time on Saturday. We got in line about 11:15pm and in the doors around 11:45pm. The first thing I hear is Jon telling the bouncer to cap it at 300 people. After our group got in they were at 288, so we made it just in time.
It was very weird walking into Footwork to a packed house. Even though the place was rammed, the crowd was awesome and very respectful of eachother. We made the way to the front and Mike was warming up the crowd nicely. The tune that stuck out during Mike's set was:
Derrick Carter came on about 1:00 and :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: ! Man does this guy know how to play! I love how fun and bouncy his sets are. As mentioned before,
was the track of the night for me. While it wasn't the best I have heard him, Derrick Carter still played one of the best sets I have heard this year. I can't wait until he comes back!
Part of the reason why I loved the night so much was just watching Sneak rock out in the booth. I didn't really believe my eyes and had to confirm with Steph that it was actually him. Watching two legends in the booth was pretty amazing!!
Another great night at Footwork with awesome friends!
Bring on the DRUMS!!!! :D :D :D

the DC is quite nice. lots of good tunes and i loved hearing DKS – Sing With A Swing. love that tune!
