I don't think that's what the writer was going for. He's basically a saying the guy's a narcissistic git. Of course, if you want to get into psycho-sexual details, we can talk about paraphallic-piquerism, it's association with the gladius - Latin for both penis and sword - how in both male and female perversions, the vagina is often thought of as a wound, and tie it into how they relate to narcissism. |
