DSUK007: The Emissary - Transfigured Night EP

Greetings!

Originally released on the wonderful but now defunct Blue Plasma Records back in 2008, the Original Mix received spins from many top producers, including none other than Hybrid themselves!

Flash forward to 2010 and we bring you both tracks from the original release as well as previously unreleased remixes from Aeron Aether and Future Perfect - both of which have been remastered by the boys themselves especially for us!

All 3 Transfigured Night remixes are wonderful progressive breaks tracks - from the haunting depth of the original, gorgeous soundscapes of Aeron's mix to the fantastic tweaking synths of Future Perfect's. Also included is a second original from the Emissary - Write Angle - which begins with rolling beats and percussion leading up to a wicked breaks-infested finale.

Tracklist:

1. Transfigured Night (Original Mix)
2. Transfigured Night (Aeron Aether Remix)
3. Transfigured Night (Future Perfect Remix)
4. Write Angle (Original Mix)
5. Transfigured Night (Ambient Mix) <--- FREE DOWNLOAD

Damn, I've just used my Beatport discount coupon, or I would have snapped these straight up. Really enjoying "Write Angle" in particular, and I'm a sucker for The Emissary's deep spacey sound. His remix of Searching The Stars was an absolute ing monster.

Write Angle is tight. Never heard of The Emissary before, that Searching The Stars track is indeed nifty.

I'm surprised, because I've used a couple of his tracks before. The remix of Searching The Stars was on "Bang It Out" and his deeply awesome remix of Orion's Belt was on my "Spaced" mix.

Ahhhh, ok. You'll have to excuse my memory in a lot of cases.

cheers for the kind words guys :)

The Emissary is one of my favourite producers and I made it my mission to have him on the first release remixing my track (Searching The Stars) and I'm really pleased we can re-release this EP, especially with those previously unreleased remixes. We'll have some more from him in the summer I'll keep you all updated of course :)
