I know that the contest is wayyy over and done with and the vocals probably will haunt you for the rest of your lives, but I was bored the other day and came across the remix pack and decided to give it another shot. My original submissions for the contest were horrible, but I really think this version did the track justice so I decided to share it with everyone. Sorry it's not mastered but I hope you like it. As usual, comments and feedback welcomed and appreciated =)

From one remixer of this song, to another, I've got to say, that was very nicely done. Very pretty.

+1

there is a some technical difficulties for me though, the top of the saw thing that repeats, should change harmonically or not be there at all in my opinion. also, the bass doesnt sound good on my system, but as you said it wasnt mastered so.

HAHA agreed :D

Very nice song though! Just the bass seemed a little weird but it must be me. I like it a lot :)

Sounds good dude!

Woah, you've improved quite a lot. I'll try to give some feedback.

@1.28, that saw bass stab doesn't fit with the rolling bassline. I think if you made the stab play the same notes as the rolling bass it would sound a lot more plesant.

Nice piano! The synthwork didn't grab me, though.

I think the mixing could do with a lot of work. It sounds muddy and that waveform has been squished to oblivion!

Yea, so I fail at mastering my own tracks, hahaha. I'm guessing it's because it's a 7+ minute track the sound wave image is even more squished? I really have no clue, because it sounds fine to me, but then again I am using headphones. At least I got to fixed the harmonics on the repeating saw bassline. lol.

Pleasantly haunting piece mate.
