I have had more than my fair share of fun nights in Jacksonville
EDM Events @ Plush were rare but when they happened they were crazy. Also the Ocean club was fun, nothing like a night of DJ Icey, only because the crowd went nuts for it.
Now a days there is hardly anything to do but at least the drive to Miami is a lot quicker for you than it is for me.

I think you lived in Jax from 2003 to 2005 and you didnt have one fun night there? I think 2002 was one of the better years there but it was worth traveling to it on occasion. I have heard it sucks now but there was fun times to be had

Honestly though, what good does bitching do? There aren't alot of big EDM shows anywhere in the states these days except in the larger cities. I'm driving to Ft Lauderdale Friday for a show and have driven for plenty of other shows. It's really not worth whining over.

I lived in Jax Beach for two years when I was going to school up there. ing loved every minute of it!! Ocean Club used to have a couple of shows come through, Baby Anne and Icey, was always a good time. Its a different pace of life up there, very relaxing for the most part unless you live on the northside, then you better be strapped.
Orlando isn't that far of a drive 2 hours at most and they have been getting some damn good djs down there as of late. Worth the drive if your bitching about being bored
