I don't think they're trying to be the new Boa. It's the same owners, promoters and DJs, but they have said that they aren't trying to bring Boa back. They're just opening a new club.
Also, it's been proven time and again that you can't recreate an atmosphere that was a product of a certain era, type of music, crowd, etc. |

I agree 100% but I'm sure they are hoping that the old boa faithful will remember how great Boa was and come to the new club in hopes of the same thing. |

the name's def nothing to do with Boa, the word's origins actually hold deep symbolic meaning.
a·do·be (-db)
n.
1.
a. A sun-dried, unburned brick of clay and straw.
b. The clay or soil from which this brick is made.
2. A structure built with this type of brick.
[Spanish, from Arabic a-ba, the brick : al-, the + ba, a brick, singulative of b, bricks (from Coptic tbe, tbe, from Egyptian bt, brick).]
in other news, 'adope' rotated through 180 degrees around its center would be rotationally symmetric. |

Yeah - it's 'abode'. As in... "welcome to my humble abode"
Has anyone sent in a request for an invite? |
