I was there last night. I met up some friends really late at night around 3:30 AM. M and S were playing but I thought it was just okay. Some of the songs were too repetitive and the set wasn't really building to anything. FINALLY around 4:30'ish or so, Strong started playing something other than monotonous prog house tracks and these crazy techy sounds started coming outta nowhere which was good. I left around 5:30.
The good news is is that I'm glad that Guv has finally fixed their sound problems. The main room's volume is not insanely loud and it was clear. I noticed them fixing the sound finally after years of complaints last year and their keeping it up. |

| Agreed, top notch Spin Saturday again. Last nights vibe felt like the old days. The themed events can easily take a back seat in favor of last nights bookings. |

| What was the crowd like though? I lovelovelove the Guv and always have fun no matter what, but both times (not including the Gift) it was like all the sketchies invited their sketchies out. Lots of space to walk around but yet everyone seemed to manage to crash into you anyways. Then again the two times I went it was a regular spin saturday because of unfortunate circumstances (i.e. Sasha flaking out from his gig last year and Gareth unable to catch a flight here in time last weekend). Maybe these cancellations make people act weird?? :conf: Whatever, doesn't even matter because last weekend's default spin saturday featured amazing-ness from MO. :) |

| Crowd was alright last night. The usual skasians and other sketchbags were seen as per the norm. But it wasn't out of control or anything and there was lots of room to dance when I was there. |
