I had sooooo much fun!
But why in the hell Victorville, the drive was bleh :(
Marcus killed it!, Rank 1 dropped a SICK remix of its a fine day during the little bit i saw him. Spoke to Showtek (really cool guys), even though i missed their set :( , Sjoerd was stuck in Miami for a full week because of the Icelandic volcano lol he was pissed haha...
Reza's set was structurally good, but typical tracks. Spencer and Hill dropped it proper! John B was good, but i expected more. His set was one of the ones i was looking forward to the most.. My friends saw Gervais and RHV and had both good reviews from them. I missed Dan and Jelo. But that's the 2+ hrs drives fault.
Ak1200's set stole the night away for me, reminded me of the days i was wayyy into DnB.

The last few motive events have been in victorville since they can't use pharoahs anymore.

| I was there with Piet and what an interesting experience....the main room was hotter than satan's butthole and the crowd seemed so miserable they couldn't even dance. The sound system was just horrid with music bouncing off the walls and sometimes I couldn't even hear the melody. Piet's set was very different, not a typical one at all. Of course I froze my butt off when we left because we were soaked in sweat. |

Ya i didn't know what expect, we actually drove to the NOS in San Bern and realized we messed up BAD once we were there haha
We had to drive like another 30mins (hauling ass) up the grapevine just to get there at a decent time. I didn't want to miss Marcus.
I was on a comp list so i didn't mind driving (or dealing with the candy ravers), but then when I realized it was in Victorville i was a little bit annoyed and so were my friends because we were running late.

Ya it was crazy in there, i opted to be in the crowd during Marcus's set and then proceeded behind the stage once his set was over and spoke to him for a little while. I was melting in the crowd it was so freaking hot! But i wanted to be in the crowd during his set so i hung out with the kids. The sound wasn't horrible while i was in the crowd, the little bit i saw from back stage during his set sounded okay imo? Anyway, you can bug him on which version of "fine day" he played por favor? |
