Some guy said he had "proof" that FL doesn't use more than 2 cores because he had FL open, took a picture of his task bar which proved only 2 cores were being used by fruity.
Then some other people came in and said thats cause all FL NEEDED was 2 cores for the individual project he was working on, and that it CAN support more than 2 cores. (this was kvr) Yet noone came in and posted a picture of FL being open and using all 4 cores.
In reality, it seems like noone knows for sure, like everyone either thinks it does or thinks it doesn't.
I posted this in the other thread but chose to make a new thread cause its a seperate topic. Can someone on this forum who has a quad core, open as many vsts in FL as they can and see if FL will actually use more then 2 cores? I was contemplating buying a quad core but I'm being told now its worthless for FL, but other people are saying FL DOES have the ability and just randomly designates cores as it needs them.
Can someone verify this either way? Thanks! |
