Great idea, but, for me, the ducking by the kick detracted from it making the bass-line pump a little too much.

Agree with Eddie - lover this bass volume and maybe side-chain it to kick. This synth sound is to good to be hidden behind this bass.

I agree the ducking is too present but the melodic idea is strong and the choice of lead sound is spot on.

What keyboards are you using for the "wind sound" at the start as well as for the percussive melodic keyboard bit at the start?

It's a whitenoise sample, with a chorus on it. The synth is the Predator, as are the rest.
