I stopped by Voyeur today after work (around 5ish) and some guy (I didn't get his name) said that they are sold out for tonight.

If you are sure they will be selling tickets at the door I don't have a problem going earlier and getting tickets, but only if you are sure.

I am sure that they are selling tickets at the door but I must stress it: go super early because there will be many many people trying to do the same thing

Wow, what a difference a night maakes.

First, the crowd could actually see Markus. And Markus could see the crowd. And the crowd wasn't too bad. As far as the set...

AWESOME SET! Markus came out banging and kept it going for pretty much the whole time!!

And Victor's set was great. really great. I don't hear opening sets that really just pull me in from the time I walk in, but his did on this night. And when Markus came on, the music didn't skip a bit in terms of direction. Felt like Markus felt the end of victor's set and just took off from there.

The feel of voyeur reminds me a lot of Mighty up in SF . And Markus loves Mighty, so he prob loved Voyeur!

Two (small) complaints: The (huge) wall between the DJ area and the bar (hehe). Sound was maybe too loud (lots of people walking outside going "ouuuch, my ears!" hehe). That's it.

Some douches in the crowd, of course, but compared to Sutra it was tame and the place wasn't overloaded with em at all. But they brought a lot of comedic relief. Like the couple sweaty ass dudes took their soaking wet shirts off for Markus to sign. And the guy in the corner in the VIP booth on the side whose I think was having siezures totally pumping and jumping to markus completely off-beat lol.

Crowd size was very good considering size of the venue. Anymore and it'd prob would have led the place to become depresslingly hot and just too much to deal with. Never got overpacked. Had friends who tried to get presales earlier today, but couldn't and the club told them to come after 11. We got there and it wasn't crammed, so they tried to come before they were told to and were able to get in just fine.

Walking back to the car was a trip with all the drunk baffoons out an about acting mature, hehe. It's at those moments I feel old, hehe.

I think Markus went over to Spin to check out Lange afterwards, but couldn't make it over myself. Have a kid to pickup in the morning...err, in a few hours.

First time there and we loved it. It had a good city feel outside and cool entrance. The drinks were good, and staff cool. There was room to dance and overall much more chill than OC/LA, which is very nice.
Markus brought a great set for over 2 hours, some real bangin tracks. Victor had the place in perfect condition for Markus. He was real good Victor, than wham Markus pops up out of no where under the decks and begins, that was cool. Over all real good night. Lange was real good at Spin too, afterwards. THX SD ;)

Sick party! It was my first time at Voyeur and the experience was great. As noted by others, the club is pretty intimate but it's kinda nice that way. Those two walls between the stage and the bar were kind of annoying though, they practically split the dance floor in half. The girlfriend was lagging so unfortunately I missed Victor's set, but hopefully I won't miss him in July. I got there right when Markus was coming on, and he played a really nice set, with some of the better songs from his new album. All of the tracks were recognizable from his radio show, so I was a little disappointed he didn't play anything new/special. The club did get a little bit packed, but it wasn't overbearing like some events get. The LED screen was ing nuts, I'm sure it must have been a trip for those under the influence. Overall a great night with friendly people, sweet tunes/mixing, and good vibes!
