I saw the link with pics right as I was leaving the office, and 10 minutes later I was walking out of the skywalk expecting to be engulfed in smoke.
I saw nothing, no fire whatsover, not even a plume of smoke! Blew me away. Incredible job by fire fighters, wow! |

Yessssssssssss! +2
Nice pics too, guys ... all the flames that this story unleashed in the media had been put out rather quickly! I didn't even notice it in the local news the next morning. |

Here are a few of my pics. I was on the way to get my drink on before the game, and saw this! The fire crew put it out sooooooooo fast, I was very very impressed. Good job TFD.

I bet that was the mechanical room that started the fire. Probably a blown motor in an air handling unit sparked a fire. I don't know if that building is forced gas or steam heated.... so yea blame it on an electrical fire.
That place won't have heating for a while... thank god its getting warmer out. |

I don't think so. When I saw the shots on the news, the fire was on the astro turf. It looked like the patio set went up. The mechanical room was further to the south, and seemed intact. Actually the fire fighters came from the south of the room, and moved north to put out the fire.
Me thinks it was a BBQ incident. |
