living in Cleveland the past 3 years, Kid was coming up quick...but funny how no one pissed and moaned when he left that city quicker than LeBron James and didn't look back... when Day & Night came out it was the anthem the entire youth of Cleveland could relate to and there was a huge underground following responsible for getting it radio play...tons of local remixes. It was cool to see the grassroots upbringing actually WORK for someone out of Cleveland.

yeah i love Kid Cudi. i first heard word of him from his "day n night" track, before it went national it was local on a dj mixtape series called "bitch i'm from cleveland", downloaded his old underground mixtape before Kanye signed him and have been a fan ever since

I'm a pretty big fan of a number of his songs. Some others not so much.
However I was shocked when I was at work and someone was playing some mixtape version of a song that had the original mashed up with Children :wtf:
