Well ... as much as I can like an artist/dj, or the track selection he plays quite often (like e.g. Kerri Chandler), I wouldnt want to go to a concert/gig/event knowing what he's gonna play, no matter if he changes the order every now and then and tosses in a new track.
My POV is that when I pay a DJ for attending one of his gigs, he better surprises and amazes me, by playing some kick ass stuff, not the same over n over. Then I might as well just stay at home and put up some of his older stuff.
It's nothing personal, but I think more people will agree with me on this. Sure, it's always nice to know he's (a dj) is gonna play some big floorkillers you'll go mad on since you know 'em. But all the same, for several consecutive years in a row ... that's too lame (for me), it confesses if little talent or effort. |

I think his livesets become the slave of the success of his different pieces show. There's nothing new here if you listen to them. |
