Tell me what you think!! Some of the tracks are quite melodic, so if you like melody you'll probably like these!
(i'm in the process at the moment of buying new VSTs and samples so I can achieve somewhat of a more modern sound lol) |

| Well mixed, and you take chances with your musical ideas introducing the odd natural note to somewhat complex chord progressions. The samples I listened to, however, weren't very long and seemed quite repetitive past the first minute or so of listening. |

Got some cool stuff there man. A pity they are so short in the player, but that's understandable. The one thing I really think holding back your designs most is the fact that its the same synth over and over in your tracks. Work on using a few different synths and I think you may be surprised.
Connection to the timeless evokes the feelings of so called "dream trance" brought about by the legend Robert Miles. However, I don't feel it really balanced like some of your other tracks. Everything is done well, but I feel like its the simplest of your tracks in terms of melody and sound structure.
Empires Internal is a very solid track in my opinion, but there is like a one note detuned in the early melody. Fix that one note and I think you could shop the full tune.
Nightfall Carnival feels sadly dated, though the production is well done as well. I feel like the insert of the second synth comes in a bit harsh though.
Seas is a weird one mate; cool attempt but I'm not sold on it.
Everliving feels like an Anjunadeep track without the really expensive synths. LOL. At least early on. By the time you get to the second loud synth, it doesn't. Ugh, cool stuff but I'm not sure what to say about it.
Universal Thunder's intro is very very well done. Edge of the Planet is also well orchestrated though it evokes a feeling of Italo-disco in me (think Eiffel 65). I see that the synth sounds in this are different then the earlier tracks.
Hope that helps some mate. You've got the song writing part down it seems (at least from the samples) but I'm not hearing enough instrumentation in your synths yet. |
