On Saturday, May 22nd, come Get Tribal as some of Atlanta's local DJs come together to party until dawn. The party will start at 10 PM and will go strong until 8 AM. There will be two rooms for music (details on who is playing when will hopefully follow). The variety of music should appeal to everyone into the EDM scene though. Jungle-attire is recommended. Body paint will be provided for those who want to get their warrior stripes on. There will also be a chill-out / cool-down room if the excitement and energy overtake you.
18+ to enter
21+ to drink ($10 all you can drink)

So, my friends are organizing a party. There will be a lot of different types of music (all EDM) on display during the night. It will be divided into two rooms, I am not sure if there will be one for Dubstep/D&B and another for House/Trance or how they plan to divide it.
I am not 100% sure on all the details. But if you think you'd be interested in this party, please stay tuned for more information. Hopefully I'll have all the details by the end of the week. But since the party is in less than 3 weeks, I felt it prudent to help them out and get this on some local scene forums. |

I've never been to Colab...never heard of it until now in fact. Friends sound pretty pumped about it though.
Anyone have experience with the place they want to share...besides the staff being on the creepy side? :p |

I did a show there back in February. It's a giant 22,000sq ft warehouse out in bum southside. The main room (which we didn't use when I played) is pretty ing massive. The lobby room is still decently sized and that's where I played. The one bathroom they have was ing rank when I played, not sure if they ever got that fixed. All the owners live in there and are swingers. The other semi-weak think is you're not allowed to smoke inside.
It's an experience. I'm not sure if I'd ever go back (not to mention I think they're kinda pissed at me for shutting the party down at 3:30 instead of playing until 5 since everyone had already left), but it's an experience nonetheless. |

Oh wow, the owners live there? Interesting.
When I went to get their address...I noticed something about them updating/fixing the bathroom actually. So I guess I should be more thankful than that than I would normally be? |

Yeah, the owners all live there and each other all over the compound. It's a communal little hovel they have (they're Burning Man regulars and are really into it). Some of them are alright (Justin in particular, although he recently fell from the water tower at CoLab that he sleeps in, yes, sleeps in) so he may still be severely injured (it's like 6 or 7 stories tall and he fell from the top hitting some bars on the way down which apparently saved his life).

At least the bathrooms should be tidier. |

Dude, it turned out to be reaaaal sketch by the end when it was just them. The one pudgy bint twirling a giant rod about alone and spinning in circles in front of me as I played ing Jooris Voorn tracks and everyone else (Haya, Deanna, and Nick) were all passing out on a couch covered in cumstains.
And this lady stared at me. A hole was bore in my sternum. |
