| Anyone know how to make drum loops like Guy Gerber. Anyone know what types of percussion samples he uses and how he gets the lofi sound? |

I m not sure how the typical guy gerber drums sounds like. May have to listen later to one of his songs.
But I tried last summer a lot of the bitcusher / distortion plug-ins which are available on the market.
I finally stay with those:
Crysonic - nxtasy ( I use that one always for my drums, percussion and sometimes also for kicks - a friend told me about it as he achieved great sounds on percussion too)
Audio Damage - Kombinat Always on my Subs / Basslines etc. Sometimes for the "harder tribal-drum-percussion"- I just love it...
I m not sure whether you can get any of the sounds you are looking for with those plug-ins. But in my opinion those plug-ins are really fantastic and if you are looking for distortion vsts you should definitely try them out! |

| Personally, I responded directly to the question about "lo-fi" sounds without really listening to any of Guy Gerber's stuff to reference... so I probably should make that clear. |
