At the Sundae parties, the MC breaks up circles and people talking by saying, "Don't disrespect the DJ. If you aren't dancing, get off my dance floor." Sometimes, he'll call people out individually, "You in the blue shirt, start dancing or get out."
Recently, I was at Sumo (a small Philly club) and a woman cleared the dance floor with her mad hula hoop skills in a cramped space. The DJs didn't call her out, but she was hot and barely dressed, so maybe that had something to do with it.
As for my opinion on circles, I think it can be fun to take a break and watch, but I am at a dance party, not a dance performance.

WTF- No you didnt ! lol im kidding- this post has taught me that the ppl on this forum are not the kinda ppl I was referring to when initially posting it. I feel pretty confident if you guys saw the circles at Pacha I was referring to most (not all)(trying to be PC here) would have been a lil annoyed as well.

exactly, iam all for just going out and busting a move or 2
even watching the gweedo's frolic can be entertaining every once in a while just as long as they respect everyone around them
