Just a reminder for everyone who's excited about Piknic this year that the full lineup for the season will be announced at 3:00pm (15h) today, Wednesday, May 5th, on the official website...

A bunch of names have already been revealed from myspace searching... you can check the Montreal thread to find out more.
So who's thinking of going this year?
I'll be there for the opening day since I have a strong feeling that Nic Fanciulli will be there. He did mention at Igloofest that he would love to play at Piknic.

This is a serious pain in the ass! I suspect it's probably because the piknics were getting too big/wild with BYOB.
I'd like to go this year. Part of me is considering going up for Montreal pride. |

I'm about 2 hours south of Montreal these days
so Piknik is going to be a bi weekly thing for me - if I can pull it off. At least once a month for sure.

Another failed lineup, anyways.
Most of these djs are so obscure that it's impossible to plan ahead.
I usually drive by the place, listen for 5-10 mins, if it sucks I go spend my time/money elsewhere.

I think the only three I'd consider checking out all happen within a week of each other... lol

Those are the ones I'd go to, especially the one on July 25. It's too bad I'll be camping that weekend. :(
Otherwise, the line-up gets a big meh from me this year compared to last year. However, I'm not really too big on the bass/dubstep scene yet (haven't really given it a try, although I will be at DEMF). |
