The lighting carriage is used less frequently during headliners and larger events. The Guvernment has a lot more lighting today then it did in years past. You can bet every time Mark Oliver is closing they are in operation. I like how they are saved for those dark progressive sets and not over used like the smoke cannon and other typical lighting you can see every other night or in any other club around the world.

You are absolutely right. Because special event nights usually mean there are extra decorations and or projectors etc that make lowering the truss impossible to do.
Regular nights the trusses are free of obstruction. |
