Last time I paid a mouse that much money I at least got to see Michael Jackson perform in 3D.
That should be the very minimum that's expected when paying that kind of money. |

lol you're right, if people are going to pay ridiculous prices they might as well take advantage. i'm over the price now, i honestly just was not expecting it so it shocked me.
i'm still annoyed at wantickets for the mini run around....at least now i know for future events to check the site every hour every day to see if tickets get posted early. |

Idk $75/$100 sounds about right for 2 DJ's. Each DJ charges at least $50,000. Maybe more for a holiday weekend.
These are the same prices one would pay at some WMC day parties and most Ibiza night parties after converting the Euro.
I'm sure these prices will not deter many and the place will still be packed. Kinda gives you incentive to get bottles if bottles come with admission. |

hmm 2 of your faves were in vegas last month(sharam/roger) and it was free.
I'm sure roger and sharam don't come cheap.
ya i looked into bottle service a while ago figuring tickets might be $40-50, and bottle service would be better bet.
For a group of 10 it WAS $350 a bottle with a 4 bottle minimum + 20% gratuity, but that was before tickets were released. This would be $1680, and with the current ticket prices, tickets alone would be $1100+, so doubt these prices are still valid as it would equate 4 bottles and table for just another $500. |

There is a big difference between an event that is done for promotion, and one that is done for profit. Sharam/Roger was their opening day + they make most of their money on Cabanas and Bungalos so people are just fillers.
God knows how much that event at the Palladium would have cost for Black Eyed Peas, Kelis, Kelly Roland, David Guetta, Diplo etc. But it was free.
Honestly, sometimes I rather just pay the $75/$100 presale vs. wait and line and/or not know if I will get in or not. Intervention sounds like one of those events where they want good looking people through their doors. I bet a person that just wants to purchase at the door will have an issue getting in that day. |

Mikey - i'm pretty confident Afrojack's fee is probably 1/5th to 1/10th of the 50K you mention. for the rat i can see 50k being paid but nothing near that for Fro. |

Agreed. But he has potential. Prob my favorite up and coming DJ @ WMC. He played at 3 of the events I went to. (missed his set for 1) |
