Hey TAs!!!
Coming to visit a buddy in ATL that week, I was wondering where the mega club in ATL is? I noticed that Colette is spinning at Opera on Friday the 21st. She is a resident at one of my fav Chi clubs she can get a party going. What can I expect from that venue crowd and sound wise.... Looking forward to that weekend, anyone plans on being there or knows anything better to do PM me, id love to meet ya...

Opera is awful. Just awful.
Although the major promoter in Atlanta (Liquified) has been throwing some shows there recently in a separate part of Opera and those parties have gotten some decent reviews.
It all depends on what you're into I suppose. |

Dress code for almost all Atlanta shows is fairly liberal. As long as you're not wearing shorts and flip-flops, you should be fine. Nice jeans, t-shirt, and some shoes/stylish sneakers never gave me problems.
The crowd depends on the show. Everyone is there to have a good time, though they might not be very knowledgeable about the music. They're not as open or friendly as the PLUR days of the scene. |

you're right about that.
Thank God for Liquified, otherwise i'd probably say don't bother wasting your time in ATL at all. |
