| Bloody ages and nowt from them, wots the bet that Tiësto has fukked off from them aswell, which might make it better leaving Benno, hearin the rank1 remix of Dreamlant (w0000000000t) im sure Benno could do something pretty mint now !!! Or Gouryella vs Kamaya Painters :D that would piss Tiësto off :) |

| I don't think Tiesto has made a conscious decision to dump the project, I think it's just kinda died... which happens frequently with older projects of any producer. What might have contributed to it is that Tiesto's style has changed a bit since the Kamaya Painters days, but I still feel that's no real excuse. Maybe they just haven't had time to get together, who knows? What I do think is that for Magik 8 (whenever it arrives) to be really great and compete with the classic Tiesto CDs of the past, it should contain a new K Painters track and a new Allure track. Revive the old names that made you famous, Tijs! He needs to realize that he can create Allure or Kamaya Painters tracks and still do it with his current producing style and mindframe. |

well said~ totally agree with you...i think your description defines the way I feel about tijs now. i'm not happy with the past 2 preformances i've seen from tijs but reviving the old names would put a better outlook on things. |

Well Tiesto finished his album and brought out 3 new singles (Lethal Industry, In My Memory, My Love Is On Fire). I think now he has the time to collaberate with producers again and what better way to do it then bring back the old aliases? :toothless
Alas, I talked to Benno and he said that for now Rank 1 and Benicio are his only 2 aliases. However he said he finished a vinyl for Benicio and is already starting on another one. If you've heard For The Love Of You, Delicatement, or Diseffected, then you know that this style is similar to Kamaya Painters. So this is good news :toocool:
Nothing compares to Kamaya Painters though... :sadgreen: |

I think Tiesto is just trying to do the whole solo thing for now. I want Tiesto and Ferry to get together again eventually to do more Gouryella tracks.

| so the project doesnt work anymore? i though that they were just having some time alone to finish some solo productions and after that they could collaborate again to make some excellent tunes... |
