that was pretty much a mash-up or ms reconstruction there, 2 trax together..the danilo ercole remix of rank 1-airwave & the vocal version of the song. the vocal version has been around for a while. never really been a fan of airwave tho. airwave the producer, yes!

the perception track sounded nothing new to me as well, it's the same vocal version that has been around for a good few years now or a slight variation/edit. which is good news because it would mean we have a brand new version to look forward to with this 2010 justine suissa upgrade

the original with Naimee Coleman on vocals is sacred track. Markus has done a amazing job of remixing this version no doubt about it

the only reason why he can not release his rmx with Naimee Coleman on vocals is because she is nowhere to be found and therefor can't obtain the rights to it...

Justine Suissa is good choice to do a cover version of this but lets face....some covers will never top the original

Perception with Naimee Coleman on vocals > Justine Suissa on vocals

omggggggg Markus completely and absolutely destroyedddd Pacha it was really in awesome he was absolutely relentless. i dont think i have ever had 2 amazing fridays at pacha in a row... he played sooo hard i have been itchin to hear markus again since EZ and he hinted to us at the end of his set that he'd be playing the Zoo again :) :) :) he dropped some monster trackssss absolute bombs that I heard last friday during Jollins' set... Tiger's Apology, Artento Divini - Who's Next, even I See You (cosmic gate remix) which was a very similar edit from both DJs was very nostalgic brought me back to last friday :) overall an amazing experience and i can't wait to see Markus again at the zoo! :)

I think Markus may have definitely moved into my #1 slot for progressive/trance djs! There isn't much more I can say that hasn't already been said but the guy just played some amazing music! Aside from Zack's opening set at Roseland last Halloween, this was definitely my favorite set from him as well! The last hour really got that room moving and pumped up for Markus! I had such a great time, made some new friends! Hopefully he'll be back soon!! Pics and vids to come.

You can find 10 videos I took with my girlfriend's camera here, including the closing and encore. Other tracks include a video of perception, this moment, and flesh.

i thought the videos were really good, so check em out.

On her uploads, they are right below the tiesto-borgata videos.

Markus ing Schulz is a bad man and definitely leveled the place on friday. By far the best night i have ever had at Pacha. After Bal en Blanc in april he firmly took my #1 position and coming into friday i was expecting a deep dark and hard hitting set at Pacha and he did not disappoint one bit. Like in MTL he started with some nice progressive and built up to Jochen Miller-Brace yourself, which signaled the beginning of the destruction. From that point on it was track after track of absolute nastyness, i literally could not stop dancing from start to finish (was a sweaty beast by the end). As i have said before his understanding of the crowd and presence in the booth is second to none and he knows exactly what to play and when to set the place on fire. The only disappointing part of the night for me was the fact that he didnt play the full 6 hours which i feel can be attributed to the countless s who cant handle their whatever their substance of choice was and cleared out around 430. I think he was a little disappointed after the bananas start and that contributed to his early finish. Nevertheless it was a night to remember and cant wait to catch him again in the near future. I know he made it sound like hes gonna play the ZOO again but personally that is not the setting i want to see markus, like last year he will probably play to the masses and play more watered down pop-trance a la Armin. His set last year was by far my least favorite of the five times i have seen him. If anyone would like a repeat of friday i would suggest making the trek to MTL on July 2 for his afterhours set at RedLite. He loves MTL and the crazy bastard crowd that the city is known for, i can guaranteee that i will be there.

Lastly want to give big props to Zack, i made a point of getting there early and zack was setting the stage perfectly and will have to agree that it was my favorite set of his since A&B at Roseland. Keep up the good work zack, big things are coming your way.
