i mean. if we're talkin what got me hooked... this is the first edm song I ever heard...
first night of college at UR in the fall of 01. 3 chinese kids from queens sitting outside my door in the hall trying to sell me weed. and the kid, yoooo play tiesto. im thinkin, what the is a tiesto?? I was tryin to pump mobb deep. and dont get me wrong, I like mobb deep but like, this song did it

this one is kind of embarassing, but Sandstorm was the song that set it off for me. I heard it in our senior class video and tracked down the kid who made it to ask what the song was, but he had no idea...a few months later at college, i heard it at some party and checked the playlist. and that is how I got started. The next step was listening to Seb Fontaine's Creamfields 99 set....wow, i wish i still had that, the fir 20 min are redic
