I'm just wondering how did AG get to be the trance or for that matteer dance music sharing program that it was... I mean couldn't other p2p's have done the same thing? was it because of the AG groups? or was it because it was the most reliable?
dont flame me!:nervous: :nervous: i'm not looking of an alternate p2p. I'm just curious as to how AG got to be the premier sharing service before it died.
thanks. |

I think AG was so succesfull because of the simplicity, it just worked!
A lot of people where on it and almost everything was shared, resuming went automatically and ofcourse some program has to be the best, AG was the lucky one.
Greetz! |

| It's pretty simple...most of the stuff that was blocked was your mainstream pop music. Most of the trance stuff on there was not blocked. Therefore, AG was great for underground music such as trance. If you had searched for '2pac' for example, everything would have been blocked whereas you search for 'yahel' and nothing would be blocked. Hope this answers your question. |

| AG had the best searching engine ever.. so simple to download, much better concept than Napster, Kazaa, & Co. |
