Once again, another stab in the dark here (although its yielded gems before so I thank you for that).

I've been fiending for this sound recently. I won't get too wordy on you guys and just post some youtubes of stuff I like and hope you all can steer me towards things last.fm has missed.

Youtube cut the last minute out of this, skip into 4 minutes for it to pick up

To be honest, the only bands I would recommend would be Perpetual Groove and Yeasayer. I know you like Yeasayer (their first album All Hour Cymbals at least). Have you heard of PG?
Ted Promo
Yeasayer is nothing like what's in those youtubes :p

And nope, I haven't heard of Perpetual Groove but I can familiarize myself with them.

Sound Tribe Sector 9 would be a bit closer, although they incorporate tons of different styles into their live sets (and it's not worth listening to their albums, srsly, just get a liveset), but I want more like what I've posted :p

I'm aware, but you said trippy psychedelic bands and that's like all I knew :p

They're very Jam-Bandy, I highly recommend checking out their recording of the Super Mario Brothers Theme from a live show, I promise you it's worth it for the jam session in the back half of it.

I would like to know more about some good psychedelic rock but I literally have nothing except what I told you I liked. :o

You are a needy bitch. Die and leave me your CDJs.

Will do.

Not sure if I've heard older Porcupine Tree but whatever I did hear I wasn't all too fond of, but we shall see.

Thanks :)
