| What are people's opinions on Live Lite? It comes bundled with the M-Audio FireWire Solo ( http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/FireWireSolo.html ), and since I'm in the market for a new soundcard anyway, this seems like a decent deal. I'd probably upgrade to Live 8 Full down the line, but are there enough synths/options to actually make decent tracks in Lite? Thanks. |

| It is very limited to make music with but great for practise imo. and making loops. and djeing. But theres like Max 2 VST or something, and max 8 rows (height) in the clip-matrix. But its called Ableton Intro now. You should download the free upgrade. im gonna upgrade as soon as i have money to full. or win a remix comp to get it for free lol. |

It's worth having a little play with but as soon as you start to get anywhere you find yourself hitting a brick wall.
If you are considering the upgrade you might want to download the suite demo from the Ableton site - it's fully functioning for 30 days. |

| Its only useful because I think you get a discount off the full version if you have it. |
