err.. I didn't actually was very impressed with the old Gouryella tracks, but after this one.. I'm starting to like the old ones too :)
I guess there was just a big lack of good epic tracks in the last few months.. we needed a tune like this |

Ok people, this could be the best tune of the year, one of Ferry’s best productions, but it is the worst Gouryella song ever. This is not even Gouryella, it is just another Ferry Corsten production.
To whoever said it sounded like Souvenir de Chine, I have to agree with you, because it has the same essence of Souvenir de Chine and Ferry´s mix of Barbers Adagio for Strings, I am talking about this celestial and almost nostalgic melody.
Plus, it completely lacks the wicked bassline that characterizes past Gouryella tunes (just take a listen to the past ones, you will notice this SOLID bassline I am talking about)
I’m afraid that without Tiesto, Gouryella is gone, this is just another Ferry tune with the Gouryella name on it, and although is one of his greatest productions, don´t come flaming me now and let me repeat it again, the tune is excellent, but it is NOT Gouryella. |

Why do we always have to COMPARE tracks??? Music is music. There is no better or worse. It's up to musical taste.
Personally I like this track very much. And I do think it's gonna be the most talked about tune of the year. IMHO LIGAYA is trance the way it was back in 1999 - Uplifting and Energetic. Melody is absolutely brilliant - brings so much emotion and yet energetic enough to keep you dancing like crazy !

i know where you're coming from BUT an artist should always be inovative! and that this tune sounds a bit different from the other grouryella production (which is logical without tiesto) doesn't mean it's not a gouryella sound.. i mean you can also judge the gouryella sound to the level of upliftiniss (lol.. strange werd) or how epic the tune sounds and if you look at it from that angle then all tunes are equile (kinda)..
it's pretty hard to say want i wanna say, mmm my english writing isn't that good.. |

That would make sense considering he was part of Gouryella before. I'm assuming his remix would sound best since he can probably change it around pretty well :D. Who knows though, I'm interested in hearing some of the remixes though, hope we don't have to wait long. |
