Post-rock but more electronic?

Lately I've been listening to a lot of post-rock. Been a massive sigur ros fan for the last couple of years and after recently purchasing their () album, I started looking for similar stuff.
So far I've come across Mono, Mogwai, This will destroy you, Explosions in the sky to name a few. Some of the tunes from these artists are brilliant, however sometimes I find some of them a little too "rock" sounding for my taste in terms of the instruments used. Sometimes I have had enough of guitars being the main sound source for every part.
Can anyone suggest some electronic based artists that share some similarities in style to the post-rock artists I've mentioned but cross over to edm a bit more. Nothing too glitchy or off the wall though as it is the melodic tracks in post-rock that I enjoy most.
Its hard to explain exactly what I'm after but hopefully some of you will have some ideas.

The Album Leaf should be up your sleeve. (Jonsi appears/sings on a few tracks on "In A Safe Place")

Hi mate, thanks for that, actually I came across the album leaf the other day and got "In a safe place". Good album.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I downloaded Matryoshka - Zatracenie the other day after finding a thread on here about it. A really good album, I'd like to buy it on cd but can't find it anywhere :(
I haven't heard of any of the others and no I'm not familiar with 65daysofstatic - should I be? |

It's a famous British band that combines rock and electronic elements in a pretty unique way. They're quite noisy, loud and glitchy, though, so I'm not sure if that's what you wanted. Worth checking out nonetheless. Their last album "We Were Exploding Anyway" is probably the most electronic of all.
e: As for the Matryoshka album, yeah, that one is hard to get. I was lucky to get my CD through a friend that had access to this Japanese stuff, so I'm not sure where to look.

| Port-Royal is definitely cool stuff. I have 2 of their albums, very experimental, no real song structure, fun chill out type stuff, some tracks pick up a bit into a 4x4, then back to breaks, its cool. |
