mike's entire set was flawless. thanks for throwing in ferry's rendition and the surprising blast from the past on the last track!
home early to catch my flight in a bit, get to see andy again in stl on saturday night. tl till i left ahead...

but yea great night from the locals in the basement
to big mike aka pacha staff :toothless banging out a great opening set
stayed for a lil bit of andy moor he was ok
the crowd was pretty good also
over all i had fun with the people i was with plus the music
all in all good night |

this was probably the most fun i ever had at pacha...
someone played binary finary on the main floor, was bananas :) and in the basement i heard some pretty awesome tunes too, i wish i knew what they were. when i went to pee pee during andys set the guy in the basement was playing no one on earth so i just had to stay until the end of the song. ;) |

I had a really great time ...even though Mr Moor played like 5 songs more then once...at least they were all tunes i liked...makes it a little worse when the opener has already played it too (thats one of the reasons im a big supporter of the headliner making a point to be at the gigs at least a little early and check out whats going on...but it happens so no big deal)
Pacha had half of vip open to the public and since i had vip i was a litlle "meh" at the thought of it at first...but then was pretty happy about it bc it meant everyone got to come up and enjoy it....and the vip crew have really gotten so much better.
it took a lot of complaining but i really feel like theyve turned around a lot and they constantly reach out for feed back too which is great
KEvin though....gotta go im done hearing about that talking to people like they are a piece of . he spit in a girls face that night. I was APPAULED. the smoking bouncer....hes a little extreme too.
but all in all- from where i was pacha actually did a pretty decent job at keeping their together and i was surprised.
mike deff killed it i was reallllly really please with the ENTIRE set! andy's set was simply expected. i liked it...dont get me wrong butthere were no surprises whatsoever |

I disagree, I think its the openers job to set the headliner up nicely without stepping on his toes. Did Andy really play tracks multiple times? Do you know which ones they were, and where they at least different remixes? I know a ton of those Ashley Wallbridge tracks sound almost exactly the same lol but are different tracks. (Eventho I do like some of them)

I kinda had a feeling it would be that way. I feel like he literally just played at Santos so I think this booking at Pacha was definitely too soon. I think 6 months from February would have been more appropriate to re-book him. |

@Kelly Kevin is the manager of something (someone once said vip but i think its more like the dj booth or something)
@Melly I actually know a ton of headlining DJs who come at LEAST 30-45 minutes early (which is when the opener should be "Speeding up") which would be a good time to see if duplicate songs may be played.....but yes the opener shouldnt be stepping on toes....very fine line there i will keep it at that
@z gosh if i thought about it hard enough id remember. IF they were different mixes- then they were not THAT different. deff not tunes he should have been playing twice :)
i agree santos was too close to pacha gig...i was excited for the gig bc of santos set...but in the end it reminded me to over book a DJ in the same town is a down fall...now the next time he comes i feel like a lot of people will be like "eh....we just heard him...and all those tunes" |

hmmm I remember a white guy in a suit introducing himself as the VIP manager @ Markus, maybe that was him. If he really did that, then that is totally unnacceptable. Spitting is the ultimate disgrace. |
