I think argentina have one of the best pool of players to choose from, I just can't understand why he's not selected the likes of cambiasso and zanetti but has included players like gutierrez and coloccini from newcastle or martin palermo and juan veron.
Baffling. |

The team has an amazing number of forwards, but they lack strength, transition, creativity, and experience in the midfield. I could coach a better team. He selected players that had 1 cap, but "played well" in Maradona's eyes against teams like Bolivia. C'mon Plus how can you have team coherence when over 100 players have been called up since his appointment. |

Rumours say Maradonna is holding Argentina back on purpose because he is afraid to lose his status when Messi makes Argentina world champion.
And then Maradonna is the fat drug addict again. |

No Cambiasso or Zanetti really, really surprised me. I don't know. I just don't know. |

Here's the thing. If Argentina wins the Cup, will Maradona be considered a genius all of a sudden? |

yep if we look back to the season or the yesterday's final, Cambiasso deserved to be part of the world cup definitly, he is one of the best mid defender in the world. Taking Veron which is a meh player instead of Cambiasso surprised me too...... |

he just has no tactial knowledge. I would suggest that he needs to realise that just being a big name doesn't make him a good manager. |
