Hello, If anyone can suggest/ recommend any mid-tempo-ish cd's that they have found over the years it would be greatly appreciated. Below is a small list off the top of my head of the type of albums that I have enjoyed in the past that are pretty mainstream that most people would recognize. I would be very gratiful if anyone can recommend albums from any artists, obscure or mainstream that could be comparable to the ones on my list, but obviously unique to the particular artist.
Looking for...
Trance that is not too cold or too fast or overly cheesy
House that is uplifting, not too dark
Chillout that is not too chilled/ sleepy
Dance that is not too pumped
Continuously mixed albums preferred
Vocals that are uplifting but not cheesy or dodgy
Outdoors kind of party feel
Some examples of cd's...
Sunlounger- Another day on the terrace
- Sunny tales
Atb - No silence
- Two worlds
Blank and Jones - Relax edition One
- Relax edition Two
Paul van dyk - Reflections
Tiesto - In search of sunrise 3
- Nyana
Paul Oakenfold - New York (Global Underground... I think
It is not the easiest genre to find because it is not quite Dance yet it is not quite chillout. Do you sit(lounge) or do you stand (dance)?
Thank you in advance to anyone who is kind enough to take the time to make any suggestions |

| Every time I'm in the mood for something similar to what you describe I put in an old Chicane or BT album. |

seeing what you write i think asot 2010 will be for you, i'd not recommend it to anyone but the cd 1 it's like sunlounger stuff or ATB and the cd 2 it's more energetic but not too much.
Never fade away by john o callaghan could be or your taste, good vocal tracks and if you want more energetic tracks look for the remixes.
Above & Beyond sirens of the sea was of the people taste too, same asot 2010 quite chilled , vocals... |

| Schiller is another group that creates clubby-ish, mid-tempo with vocals, that came to mind. There is also a series called "Beautiful voices" (About 40 or more in the series, each cd is an independant internet release, there is a website called beautiful voices. Also there is the internet site called "live 365" that has 100's of radio stations that you can listen to free with commercials or without commercials for a small monthly or yearly fee... If you like electronic mid-tempo and chillout music check out the stations "chill-out beats" and "emjoy." Thanks for Suggestions so far... |
