Had to turn it down, the kicks were so loud. Cool atmosphere, at the beginning. Almost heading towards a Psy-Trance direction as it encounters euphoric phrasing. Just really subtle; kind of like the tune is stumbling onto stuff as it goes rather than having a discernible intent, from the beginning.
Pads a little bright and glassy from my tastes, but keep them if you like them.
I don't know if it was your intention or not, but the hi-hats are really quiet, which is kind of funny compared to how loud the kick starts.
It's a really good beginning to a song, but it seems like it could be developed a little further. I thought the arrangement was quite sparse and I don't know if the original is like that or not, but it sort of felt like there were some musical ideas that were kind of ignored, perhaps in favor of keeping faithful with the original. |

Thanks man really appreciate that insight.
So you saying I need to work on the balance of percussion volumes , and have a stronger lead. Start adding some extra sounds to the mix to bring out more energy? Its a fair bit different to the original, certain main melody's have been replaced, have a listen to it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b9iEZxPNwU
Is it possible to get your ideas/thoughts on this other remix I've done. It's good to get quality feedback after all these only my 2nd tracks finished.
Alt F4 - Alt F4 (Kuroi Bootleg Remix)
