when some one gets that DVD (melbourne shuffler) can you tell me if its any good?
ie. saw the launch is on today in melb. |

we went there, and watch the DJ up a couple of mixes. apparently the headphone jack broke (now where did i saw that before?)
then mixer got replaced (rudely i might add, because they just stopped the rekkid and start pulling out cables lol) finally the DJ start playing some minimal tunes.
at that point it was getting cold so we decided to take the long drive home :p
they'll have the dvd showing at 9pm but cbf going there again, tbh.

You kinda like move the right foot around sorta the left and then swap that process or also sometimes ppl cut sick with both...

The DVD was pretty good, sorta gives you a pride in the Melbourne scene and forget a bit of the bull attached.
But the party got shutdown by cops probably about half way through the screening I reckon, kinda sucked.. |

lol, when I refer to "bull", I mean the politics and drugs in the scene that are constantly there.
The DVD makes you think more about the self expression, enjoyment side and the focus more on the music. |

does it have old footages from pre-1998 parties like global village, hardware 2-16, EPTAS, turkish bazaar and the likes?
would be really cool if it does (and prolly make it worth buying ;))

| Yeah it does, heaps of footage of Every Picture, Hardware and other warehouse/docks parties. Lengthy interview with Richie Rich and some other guys that were around in the early 90's and stuff too. |

we know about the dance here in Toronto too .. u'll usually find it at techno parties and on occasion sometimes at a Drum & Bass nite ..

Wow, that's pretty cool. Do many people actually shuffle over there?
It's pretty big in Malaysia and South East Asia too, and it's fairly well known in the UK as well iirc. |
