I agree with you in that it isn't the greatest of line ups and it's starting to look like Bal en Blanc in the house room, but I wouldn't call it .
The only ones that I feel look out of place at the main event are Rosabel (Abel & Ralphi Rosario). Their sound is too "circuit" and more fitting for the Military Ball, Leather Ball or Jock Ball. However, I'm sure the gay americans will eat it up.
Also, I feel like there a couple of international DJs that could still save the line up.
kanaBEATya
uh... that's exactly why they chose rosabel... circuit music!
HappyDude72
I don't know if you have attended a B&B recently, but it has been quite awhile since B&B was a real "circuit" party. Usually they leave that for the other parties during the B&B festival (which are 98% gay). And although some DJs have also played at "circuit" events, for example Rauhofer, I wouldn't call their style "circuit". If you want to hear real "circuit music", just listen to a Tony Moran set or compilation.

So far...not going.

awful line-up, they're going in the wrong direction in the house room imo!!

even with 1 house dj still to be named, i don't think there's any dj in the world that can make me show up to this event. very disappointed with the lineup.

I haven't missed a B&B since I started going in 2004, and would actually get excited in the past. But this year, although I love Chus & Ceballos, I feel the overall line-up is nothing to write home about. Marco V seems very interesting I must say. For the 20th anniv, you would think they'd have much bigger guns (i.e. Morillo, Sanchez, Luciano, Tenaglia, Lawler, Cox, Fanciuli, etc..) especially given they had the legendary duo S&D last year.
HappyDude72
Now, I'm really regretting buying my ticket early.
I thought that after last year's legendary line-up,
they would try to outdo themselves for the XX anniversary.

I'm just wondering whether this was done because of
Bal en Blanc's competing event with cheesy DJs.

I've been to maybe 14 or 15 Black & Blue and i won't go to the 20th edition because i'm so dispointed with the house line-up and the fact that they falled into the trance trap

This is not Black & Blue... they announce a legendary party for the 20th edition and it's a cheapest black & blue line-up in the past 5 or 6 years ???

This might be a recepy for disaster ! An empty Black & Blue is possible for the 20th edition.

It is possible that the younger trance bal en blanc crowd that they're seaking will still not come because it's a gay party and it's not bal en blanc.

The straight older house crowd (like me) will not go because the line-up does not strongly invites us to go with only Chus & Ceballos that is a quality booking.

Some of the gay crowd will be split between B&B and the Nissim/Paula crappy night from Bal en Blanc probably because they're frustrated that B&B is trying to appeal to their clubbers musically ignorant trancy crowd

They should have stayed with 1 house room and that's it. Invest all the money into one room to have really good dj's and have an impressive 2005 like set-up.

20th edition will be a disaster and it is sad thing

i heard Danny Tenaglia is returning back to The Guv Toronto again this year. And last year was so ing insane no body regreted missing black and blue. I got a feeling people gonna stick around for the 2nd round of that. And with the new lighting at the Guv.. you really cant miss!!! sorry. oh btw, trance at black and blue?? sad.
HappyDude72
Why go to TO for Tenaglia when we can get him here at STEREO.
