I often wonder though... will that "significant meaning" really mean anything to you in 30 years? You change... your tattoo doesn't.
More specific to you, don't you wonder what will happen to your tattoo if you ever have kids? Or gain/lose weight? Do you think the tattoo will still hold as much meaning to you in 30 years? |
I would imagine that when I'm old, my tiny tattoo fading would be the least of my worries. So I'm not too concerned about that. Plus it's so low on my tummy that it's only visible if I wear super low-cut panties/ pants
My tattoo means 'Passion' or 'Passionate'. That's who I am and who I always will be, so I'm not too worried about it losing its meaning either. |

Who let Theresa out of the Forest of Feelings again? |
TA is just outside of the Forest of Feelings... located in the Forest of Debauchery with its own little region in which the Morans dwell. It isn't a long walk.
I also escaped.

| I know someone who got their sister's name tattooed to the inside of their wrist. The sister isn't even dead. Please explain that one. |

Yay if it has personal meaning and isn't a cliched piece of , as tattoos usually are.
I'd like to get something eventually, I just need to decide on what. |

There is nothing to explain. She doesn't have to wait for her sister to die to express how much she means to her. In this case - she chose to express it by getting her name tattooed on her body.

Just a suggestion: When you decide on what tattoo you want, get a temporary one - it can be painted, drawn or airbrushed, or better yet - use Henna (lasts longer).. that way you get used to it, and see if you still like it as time passes before you get a permanent one. |

+1. There is nothing to explain. She doesn't have to wait for her sister to die to express how much she means to her. If it's a bloke, however, his sister obviously has big breasts and he chose to express his creepiness by having it tattooed on his body. |
