Matt Cessar Presents Most Wanted - Seven Days and One Week (Dirt Devils Remix)
At first, this tune seemed very one dimensional, upon replaying a few times, the melody started to wave at me. Not that great of a tune, but if you have liked the other dirt devils works, you may want to check this one out. 7/10
68 Beats - Free Your Mind (Wally Lopez Weekend Remix)
House and progheads unite! Wally has returned with a plain-out stormer of a tune. Starts out with steady tribal beats, slowly introducing voice samples and distorted synths. The vocals by Nicole Graham add a nice moonlite touch to the track. 8.5/10
Dave 202 & Phil Green - Legends (Hijacker Remix)
Uplifting, extremely.... Not much mor that I can say, but this tune has a epic buildup that comes clashing down, would wreck any club. I have been hammering it in my latest sets, good crowd reaction. Definitly check this one out!9.5/10
DJ Lerby - Dunkelhiet (Villa & Gant Mix)
This one reminds me of a Russenmafia type production. heavy german voxed out vocals with trancey synths that buildup then shoot you on your ass. Check it out. 8.5/10
Gouryella - Ligaya
[Tune of the Week] While not as good as yellas other tracks, this just adds to ferry's pleathora of huge productions. Uplifting in every way possible, while retaining gouryella classic features such as the untamed melody. I was expecting not much more, and am surprised 1/2 of the duo could almost lived up to a whole.9.75/10
Nu NRG - Dreamland (Rank1 Re-Edit)
I would expect this from pvd, but Rank 1, shame on you. Distorting the original synths and then adding small ambience. I come to expect more from our great masters. Bleh...7.25/10
was expecting not much more, and am surprised 1/2 of the duo could almost lived up to a whole.9.75/10
Murphy Brown - Energizer 2002 (Kosmonova Remix)
Kosmonova remains one of my favorite artists and continues to becuase of fine remixes like this. If you liked the original, you will thouroughly dig this one. The enerhizer melody starts up, builds up and then is accomponied by Kosmonova's dashing synths to create this beauty.8.75/10
QED - Another Day (Filterheadz Remix)
I like it, I like it a lot. Even better then there remix of massive, and I thought that was ahrd to top. Just take my advice and check this one out. Very sinister and soft at the same time, hard to explain, enchanting vocals. 9.50/10
Ralphie B - Massive (Mirco De Govia Remix)
While not as good as the filterheadz remix, this still is good enough to maintain top tune status for awhile. Very uplifting, and way too similiar to the original imo.8.5/10
Rapid Eye - Circa Forever (Pedro Del Mar VS DJ Shah Mix)
This is way too low tone for me, the climax starts too late, and that ain't even nothing special. Pass this one up and grab the Free Radical mix.7.75/10
Solid Sessions - Janiero (Marc Et Claude & Paul Hutsch Mix)
Shoot it, kill it, hang it, rape it. Just get it the away from me. What a piece of pure crap. Don't bother with this one, disgraces a classic, shame on them! 5.00/10
Yakooza - Cocaine (DJ Wag Rework)
Brilliant, totally brilliant! DJ Wag adds his wavering hard plump constant feel to this song, and creates a put up or shut up drugged out anthem. Similiar to the derb mix, but i give thin one the edge because of originality. 9.00/10
Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Solar Stone's Liquid Summer Mix)
Can you feel it? How this track just f-l-o-w-s like watching the waves on a beach, on a cool summer day. So damn tranquil and relaxing, it is like oatmeal, soothes sluts heart and soul. A keeper for sure! 9.60/10
