wooh the gouryella videos are quality, but at least it shows tiesto & ferry's career , and it's music related. Also they're older, now a video like the Armada ones could be recorded by anyone.
Btw, what an awesome melody maybe it's the 100th time i listen to that track and i still enjoy it.

Like everyone else I was also wondering why do they make this .
It's not a music video by any standard. Instead it must be viewed as a commercial advertisement.
armada make a lot of profit via youtube click-throughs so quite simply they need something for people to click on.
The more of these so called videos the better.
Someone said the budget is $100, I think it's close to $0; infact I think they made money on this video even before it was posted as quite obviously it's showing various cars and scooters.
Secondly the links lead to iTunes pages where they are selling their classics albums. Since 'armada sounds' are getting more and more new audiences they also need to sell them their back catalogue and videos are a perfect advert for them, especially sponsored ones. They are probably laughing all the way to the bank.
It's all under guise of exposing EDM to more people globally.
But personally I don't care to how many people this music gets 'exposed to' because I've been disillusioned a long time ago.
I think if people like dance music they can find it themselves as I did. Globalization of trance did not work because what they are selling here, well most of it is not trance. Not that anyone cares about that either anymore.
There's only one aspect that is left that should worry artists - their artistic integrity. Endorsing things like this or even playing them is what made it all go .
Some may not know but Armin is no longer part ofarmada, he converted his 33% owndership rights to stock/cash only long time ago.
It's just a shame for him that he'll always be stigmatized over things like this because people (still) don't see the difference between him and the company.
What he should do to clear this up is speak openly about it to stop people slanting him.
