I really dont know how I feel about it...to tell u the truth, Im really happy to know that it will boost the NY/NJ local economy a bit, but if I had SB tickets...i would want to go some place warm to see the damn game, not freeze my ass off...but thats just me.

hells yeah. I hope it snows during that super bowl, because I always wanted to see a snowy superbowl, like in the old days.
Could be bad new for the Giants, because I don't think any team has won the superbowl in there own stadium. If they have then lets go Giants.

i kinda see what your saying, people will be shelling out big bucks for this game and they want to be comfortable not freezeing
but who knows when the next time a superbowl will be played at giants stadium so people are gonna go there for the experience and the game

They get paid enough, let's see a real battle on the field. Nothing's better than the dramatic winter NFL playoff games we've seen in the past decade. Visions of Brett Favre making a hail mary on a snowy field in Green Bay, or the smoke coming out of the Giants mouths as they huddled and went on to beat the Patriots a few years ago at home.
I think it's the hockey fan in me that is really embracing a northern Super Bowl. I'm just imagining a huge epic wintry battle...
That's what I love about the NHL's winter classic, and now we'll get to see the football counterpart of that, should be exciting!

Football is football, doesnt matter if its played during a hot sun, or freezing snowy conditions.

It was like Adam Vinateri's field goal when he was on the Patriots.... even though I am a HUGE Jets fan, this kick was a big moment in the NFL. Being in the snow, with no time on the clock, and a game winner.... having something like that in the Super Bowl would possibly make NFL history.

It is going to be great for NY. I can't even imagine how much the tickets will be scalped for. Too bad they make it so hard to get tickets.

People will also stay in NY, party in NY, do tourist things in NY. Yeah it will be good for Jersey too but NY is going to get the best of it. I'm not going to argue it, we both know I'm right.

mmm me too! One of the best games I ever went to was in Giants Stadium on one of the coldest winter nights in recent history (the wind chill was in the negatives!)
There is just something fun about huddling up, seeing peoples breath while they are screaming profanities, and drinking as much beer as your can to keep warm. I love it!!! (although I CERTAINLY would not opposed going to a warm Super Bowl, either!) Football is FOOTBALL!!! :) :)
