Hi guys Im new here!,

I have been reading you for a while and now decided to register. Music is a hobby for me. I play the piano and keys, this year a friend of mine lent me a Korg M50, I really enjoy it! Specially messing around with sounds and the sequencer. I have a Mac at home so I started fooling around with some loops in Garage Band and then moved to logic 9.

I ve been reading your site and watching some youtube tutorials, and I am also reading a book from Rick Snoman. I find there are SO many things to learn that I sometimes dont know where to focus. Any tips form you guys would be very helpful!.

I am posting a project Im working in Logic (I used Vengaence drums samples), I will appreciate very much if someone could give a listen and tell me what he thinks.

just keep it simple and remember with every track you make you will have learned something new.

Your track is very basic of course, but has a nice restful quality.

You ask for any tips, so mine is - nothing great is easy and the ones that really make it have a dedication and motivation few people could relate to. I know for myself as example if I had been on a 9 hour car journey and got home at 10 pm after having been away on holiday I would still go straight in the studio - sad eh!:whip:

Make tracks, after a random number of them you'll come up with something decent.

thanks everybody for your advices!,, I have added a new version with a new percusion line, some cymbals when the kick gets in.. Yes keeping it simple has helped me a lot.

I would like to add a melody, but i just cant find the instrument that fits the track! BTW, I am trying some presets in Sylenth 1, I have to say it seems an awesome synthesizer! Woww
