What's up Tranceaddict Forum! I haven't been here in a while since I've been preoccupied with school. I managed to work this out over winter break a while back and I would like your opinion on it. Give it a listen and let me know what you think. Thanks!

This is awesome! Everything sounds so good.
I wish I could produce this well... oh well, time will tell lol. |

First thing that hits me is the rolling bassline. Its got to much low end and its muddying up the whole thing.Sounds as its single channel , not layered?
Next is the tune. The chords are everywhere.I dont find it uplifting nor emotional.
I think this needs quite a bit of work.Especially on the EQ side.
Keep it up tho

What Eddie said about EQ is absolutely 100% correct.
You need to work on Eqing your tracks a little bit better. The whole conecept of the song is outstanding, but I don't really feel anything when listening to the song. I can tell that it's definitely missing some of those uplifting and "high-speed-car-chase" type elements. Some of the leads also sound flat and kinda cheesy tbh.
Don't let this get you down though! There's still TONS of room for improvement, and when produced correctly, could be a sweet track on the likes of an Anjunabeat artist.
Keep at it! :) |
